A big 'Thank You' to all those who participated, AND to those who helped out with time-keeping, ribbon-attachment and shinpan-ing! This year's club tournament has been the biggest one held so far, and provided valuable shiai experience for all! Congratulations Takeru on winning 1st place.
14/10/04 UPDATE: Congratulations to Michael Dunn who has been elected Interim President for UMKC and Kevin Chin who will be replacing Michael's role as club treasurer.
UMKC will be holding a Special General Meeting on Wednesday 13th of Oct after training.
The main agenda item will be the election of an interim club president and should be a short (15 mins) meeting. If you wish to nominate anyone please contact them beforehand and email the committee as well. All members are encouraged to attend, as this post affects the club as a whole.
Our team is back from Perth, and they did well! Highlights include: UMKC 1st place Kyu Teams, Taiki 3rd in Kyu Individuals and UMKC overall 3rd place in Kendo. For full details, check out this forum posting.
