All those UMKC members wishing to grade at the upcoming grading must do the following:
- email kendo@musa.net.au with your full name, grade and when attained this grade, or if ungraded, when you started Kendo(month is fine)
- you must also fill out the official AKR grading form and return it to the club ASAP (no latter than Monday 5th Sept) with payment. (Available at link below.)
- payment will be subsidized by the club, but has not been confirmed. (We'll let you know soon!) Expect to pay no more than $25.
Notes on filling out form: - PLEASE WRITE LEGIBLY - "Place - Kenshikan Dojo" - "Date - 17/9/05" - If ungraded just put a "--" next to "Current Grade" - "$30" next to "fee included...." (This is only for AKR use, you will actually pay less.) - MAKE SURE YOU SIGN IT!
We are holding a fundraiser to support our club and in particular our University Games team who will be competing in Brisbane at the end of September. All invited - Kendo and Non-kendo friends alike! Please pass on the details to those that you think would be interested.

This year's fundraising night looks to be a great night yet again: - Bands playing a mix of originals, covers and Okinawan Folk, - Auction (Kendo items, Calligraphy by Ben Sheppard Sensei, UMKC members to cook a 3 course meal or clean your home!) - Trivia (Kendo, Martial Arts, Japan, Random) - Prize Giveaways - Finger food throughout the night - Drink voucher on entry - DJ after 9.30pm
Tickets: $12 - pre -ordered $15 - at the door

For those that weren't at yesterday's Sensei training, it was announced there will be no training as previously scheduled for tonight (Monday) at Kenshikan.
