May 28th Grading
Please be advised that the 4th Kyu to 3rd Dan gradings will be held this Sunday at Kenshikan, 91 Rosslyn Street, West Melbourne.

Rosslyn Street comes off King Street and is about 3 blocks north of Latrobe Street, where Melbourne Central is situated. It is approximately a 20 minute walk. Please be advised that Flagstaff Station will not be open on Sunday. You should all know where Kenshikan is located by now anyway.

Gradings shall operate in ascending order commencing at 1pm sharp. It is thus imperative that candidates arrive and be dressed at least half an hour before 1pm, at which point registration begins. The doors will be opened at midday.

Grading Requirements for May 28th Grading

The grading panel requires volunteers to assist with organizational tasks throughout the day. If you wish to volunteer and you are not a grading candidate, please arrive at Kenshikan at midday.

Upcoming Grading Numbers
As you may or may not know, there will be a grading held on Sunday, the 28th
of May and it will be testing for 4th Kyu to 3rd Dan. Members who graded
earlier this year can not grade again.

The VKR requires approximate numbers to assist them in organizing and
conducting the gradings. To that effect, may I ask that all those who wish
to grade please email me back on kendo@musa.net.au with your name and
current grade, please. If you are unsure as to whether you want to grade or
not, email me back anyway.

Please email your details before midday this Friday the 5th.

[Anthony's Edit]: The grading form is available online in the Documents section.
