The club will be having another round of UMKC Jackets.
The design will be exactly the same as the existing jackets. Sizes will be S to >XL.
The cost of the jacket will be the same at $65, which will include your name and all other embroideries.
It would be wise to try on someone else's jacket to discover which size best suits you.
Once you have found your size, please fill in the jacket form which will be found at training and make your payment to the box. You will need to print in CAPS your full name, but it will appear on your jacket with the first name initialized and the surname in full ie "V. HOANG".
1) We have started collecting names for the zekken order. For the beginners, the zekken is the name and logo tag on the tare. Please put your name down by next Wednesday (1st August) and pay $20.

UMKC wishes to congratulate Chris Panagopoulos who will soon travel to Japan to attend the 2007 AJKF Summer Seminar for Foreign Kendo Leaders in Kitamoto, Saitama.
The Summer Seminar offers an opportunity for non-Japanese kendoka around the world to learn and train with the best Japanese Sensei. Two kendoka from each country are selected to attend this event, and Chris was one of the lucky two who was selected from Australia.
We wish Chris a great and productive time in Japan!
