The VKC will be held at the Darebin Community Sports Stadium (857 Plenty Rd, Reservoir), this Sunday 25th.
Please note that events commence at 7:30am with the Shinai Weigh-in. - For Competitors, it is recommended you arrive no later than 8:00am, and it is also recommended you wear your UMKC jacket, - For Volunteers, you will be required at the venue before 7:30am to assist in set-up. You are required to wear a suit with white shirt, black pants, black jacket (optional), and red tie, or failing that, your kendogi.

As the year draws to an end, the club will be organising its traditional end of year dinner again. The place is as yet unconfirmed but will most likely be the Afghan Gallery if there are no other suggestions. The club is still open for alternatives, so this is your very last chance to suggest a place that you'd like to have dinner at. Apart from the venue, the following details have been confirmed:

Please put your name down for dinner if you are interested in going because the club would need to make the booking as soon as possible. Note that if you're late to submit your name and payment, you would most likely be unable to attend if the booking does not allow for it. The most efficient method would simply to reply by e-mail and pay at training. Otherwise, a separate sheet list would be organised at training. Please have your name in by Wednesday.
