2008 Beginner's Course Details now up
If you are interested in taking up Kendo in 2008, try the UMKC Beginner's Course. You will learn the fundamentals of kendo to allow you to become a fully fledged member of UMKC. The course lasts 8 weeks. Turn up to the first day of the course for free, to get a taste of what kendo is.

Osaka Twilight Festival

The annual Osaka Twilight Festival will be held on Sunday, the 17th of Feburary, and will return to the Treasury Gardens. UMKC will again be performing a kendo demonstration at this event. The demonstration will be some time in the afternoon, possibly after 4pm.

Change in starting date for 2008 to the 14th
The Sports Association has changed the starting date for all clubs. This means UMKC will begin training for 2008 on Monday the 14th of January (not Monday 7th).
