Entry to MUKEN Beginners' Course has closed
As the Beginners' Course progresses into its third week, we have decided to stop accepting new members for the course. Thank you for those who have decided to enrol so far! We now have around 50 people undertaking the course.

Our next beginners' course will commence March 2015.

Victoria University Shiai Program
The Victoria University Shiai Program 2014 has commenced, with the first match up between the clubs to be held on Wednesday March 12 7:00pm at VU Footscray Park. Please feel free to come watch and to support the MUKEN team.

Grading Success!
The 6th - 2nd Kyu grading was held today at the Kenshikan. Eight MUKEN members attempted their respective gradings and passed. Congratulations! Thanks to all the senseis, instructors, and fellow members for their continued guidance.

Kendo Demonstration - March 6 Northcourt
MUKEN will be holding a kendo demonstration from12:20-12:40pm in the North Court, Parkville Campus. We will be demonstrating some basic concepts, movements, and showing you some sparring.

If you are still interested in joining our beginner's course you can still do so. Please come along on Thursday 5:00pm at the West Stadium, Tin Pan Alley.

First Day for MUKEN Beginner's Course
Melbourne University Kendo Club has begun our 2014 Beginner's Course. For the first day we had 87 participants (55 males, 32 females) !!!! All were eager to try out and experience for themselves what kendo is about.
